neutralcorner you are right ottoville will never beat jennings this year or every not with their speed, excellent passing, and teamwork.

Also this Ben Miller ur "All State" goalie got scored on tonight twice. Jennings beat Continental 2-0.

klida.. always have been always will

I hate to break it to you but Fort Jennings soccer has set the standard for the rough game in putnam county the last 4 or 5 years.....no one right now goes out and plays rough hard nose soccer like them....and if you think other wise im gonna have to go and see this team play and expect someone to be carried off

Yes, I have to agree
I made it to the first half of the FJ v CONT. game
and was ready to see a blow out by cont. by the way people have been talking
instead I saw a sad sight didn't even look like soccer to me
Fort jennings RULED the field
took possesion well over 81% of the game i'd say

It looked to me as the FJ goalie would start a ball play it out of the D
jennings would possses allt he way up the field passing around cont with ease
jennings woudl take their oppurtuninty
and hthen cont. would just KICK the ball as hard as possible
they didnt' expect it
but like i said NOBODY matches Bruskotters speed int he back
he ran right by so called continentals HIGH speed players everytime...
I even heard cont. coach yell a few times... "NOW, long ball long ball..."
your team is fast but that's not goign to get you anywhere ... POSESSION

If you ask me I'd say the PCL player of the year... (as on the field this game)
goes to Bruskotter, or Chandler... Hands down no one on cont outplayed them

anyone agree?

Are you nuts?
A PCL player of the year decided now, way to early.

I agree Jennings dominated the game; especially in the first half. The score could have been a lot worse if jennings would have finsihed a few more opppurtunities. As for Continteal they seemed out of shape to me; Geckle and schmidt are both very fast but the only thing they did was run the ball down whenver a bal was kicked over jennings defense; I saw many times where a jennings defender would have the ball and continetals forwards wouldnt even apply any pressure. As for PCL POY I cant see it going to anyone from continetal.

Ottoville has the wrost schedule in the pcl. There record might be good but they play nobody. They are not even in the race to get the pcl this year. I thing fj should get it. They played bad and still tied kalida and now they just beat continetal 2-0. They might be for real this season. I hope to make it to some of there games this year so i can see them in action.

we'll see when they get to their pcl schedule

I think kalida ftj and continental all have a very good shot at winning PCL this year these match ups between them will be good games to watch it will all come down to execution between the teams ftj and kalida both played a very sloppy and slow paced game havent seen cont. so far no POY for me

As i said before...ben miller can't do very much when his defense gets burnt. He is just hung out to dry.

Now that MC beat Kalida 1-0, PCL is up for grabs if FJ gets beat...who knows what will happen?

PCL is up for grabs but right now FJ is on the hot seat
if they lose to O-ville then it would be a free for all in the league

and not takin anythin away for geckle but hes not a dominating force that u say he is
sure, he scored on MC but is he really worth all the hype?

but isnt that a sign of an excellent goalie, (like u say he is) that he can come up with the big plays when his defense fails him?

i agree 6 footer......... sure geckle's fast, but he's not a dominating force out there, he runs his mouth more than he runs for the ball

6-footer:Ben Miller gets hung out to dry ten times in one game and allows one goal-that is nine big plays. Give the kid a break. He can't be the whole defense. It's simple: 4 on 1 = goal.

Dr, P i know wat its like to be hung out to dry by your own defense
i know he his a very good keeper and has great skill
im just sayn lay off a little on all the praise that has been given to him lately

I completly agree, I i fell that Ben Miller is completly overrated. I know that all you continetal ppl will come back with all these reasons, but i dont fell that he is all that good. He may be great but he hasnt impressed me on bit this whole but that is just my opinion.
