Aaron Craft isn't the B10 8th leading scorer. He had a job to do and he did it VERY WELL.

1 turnover and 4 assists in 31 minutes. Not bad for someone who was not good enough to play D-1 basketball according to some clueless people.

And a freshman locking down a senior.

lets recap: Victorian on Aaron Craft......
Posted on: May 11 2010, 02:01 PM
He'll be ok. Not gonna set the world on fire but can give them some minutes.

QUOTE (a flock of tbirds @ Sep 30 2010, 08:29 PM) : OH no!!I DEFINITELY agree Craft is REAL nice. You do not get a scholly to OSU unless you are NICE!!!My point is he will need some time to adjust to college hoop!He isn*t that nice where his game just automatically translates to BIG TEN success!!!I like Crafts game and think he will help OSU out big time once he does get acclimated!!By the end of the season I would not be surprised if he gets the LIONS share of the PG minutes.
--
If he does, OSU is in major trouble.
They are forced to start Lighty at point this year and then hope Lenzelle Smith can play point and then groom the pg they have coming in next year.

The fact that he is a defensive liablity is not his fault. That is not to say he is horrible on defense, it has to do with his size and lateral footspeed. Those are two things he cannot control and will need to compensate for .

Announcers on CBS said Ohio st coaches said AC's lateral quickness is the reason he is so good defensively.

At the time, I figured a lot of Victorian's expert commentary would come back to haunt him, but never went to the trouble of going back over the thread to hunt for the true gems. Thanks for this little trip down memory lane.
