Coach Huth of OG missed tonight's game due to a serious illness in his family and it ended up cost the Ttians. OG didn't substitute their first player until they were 15 minutes into the second half. OG was just completely out of gas by the last 15 minutes of the game. Not sure how you expect 8 of your 11 players to play 80 straight minutes....

Hope all is well in the Huth family.

After playing together all season, do you really think that was the difference?? Miller City played extremely hard and if you noticed they didn't sub but 3 girls the whole game.

Way to go MC!! Goodluck your next game!!

I'm sure MC subbed more than 3 girls....but if it was only 3, they did it once in each half....which may have just been enough to keep them fresher than OG. OG normally subs more often than they did tonight. I'm not taking anything away from MC....I think they played harder from the very start....I'm just saying that if you're not used to playing 80 minutes that that certainly could have taken a toll on OG. I think the 2nd MC goal was a direct result of OG being tired...

As for your comment...."After playing together all season, do you really think that was the difference?"....come next March, are you saying Ty Mac could just step aside when the tourney starts and your team would be the same because "they had played together all season".....sounds kinda silly when you put it that way don't you think....lol tongue.gif

OK, let me rephrase. Whoever the assistants were should be able to tell when the girls are tired by their performance and should have subbed. That's part of the coaches job!! That's part of teamwork!!

And MC did only sub 3 players, both halves and they usually sub more too!!!

Sorry I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers, it just seemed like MC wasn't getting any credit for a hard fought win!

Celina fell to Findlay last night 2-0. That leaves the winner of the St. Marys and Bath game tonight as the last one standing for the WBL.

Channel 44 says the game is at noon. What is the correct time ? 11, 12 or 1 as I see all 3 are stated.
