Kalida's recent history in the tourney against PCL teams they should beat is not good.

"Destiny" implies that results are preordained. HS soccer in the tourney is anything but predictable.

What SHOULD happen? The same result as the last time they met. Kalida has the better team.

What WILL happen? God only knows. Ottoville's beaten them in tourney the last 3 years.

Alas, we are finished. Four years in a row, we do not make it past Ottoville in the District Semi-Final game. So, here are is the final four year tally:

Kalida: 53-08-10 (Half of our losses in the Tourney to Ottoville). Season losses: Shawnee (twice), Ottoville, and Bluffton

Ottoville: 56-16-04

In conclusion, Coach Eric Gerker has figured us out. He knows our ways, we are putty in his hands.
