Could you possibly be thinking of Dexys Midnight Runners and "Come One Eileen"?

I just could not think of their name!! I loved the beat of that song!!! And yes they are British too!!

Your lack of enthusiasm for the Beatles is hard for me to understand. But that's just me. I know a lot of people that aren't big fans so you're not alone. I just don't understand it. Their harmonies on almost every song is a beautiful thing.

Well said!! Although I will admit I like the Stones too, I would pick a Beatles Concert over a Stones Concert first, if we still had that choice!!

"Oh reaching out for something
Touching nothing's all I ever do
Oh I softly call you over
When you appear there's nothing left of you

And the man in the back is ready to crack
As he raises his hands to the sky
And the girl in the corner is everyone's mourner
She could kill you with a wink of her eye "

SO LUV IT!!!!!

Peter Noone puts on a Great Concert! I saw him at the NPAC in VW a couple years ago. I got to meet him and he is a very nice and down to earth guy! His band was great too!!!

How about Sir Elton John. He and Bernie Taupin was some dynamic duo.

And what about Human League? I doubt that blonde hottie EVER worked as a "waitress in a cocktail bar."

George Michael
Tracy Ulman. (One hit wonder. "They Don't Know About US")
Adam Ant. (Now residing in a loony bin I believe)
