i would like to see what Swaney would do catching a guy with breaking stuff, and heaters coming in at 85 mph like Snider has been around since he was on the Legion team this past summer. That's why IMO i believe Sniders the best catcher in the league. Another thing is, you have to give Swaney his props for hitting .500, there's two guys you HAVE to get out on that team and he's seeing every pitchers very best stuff every plate appearance he gets. But i would like to see him against a Cheney, Deitering, or Linehan...i honestly believe those are the top three in the league

Yes Swaney is a great catcher but Snider IS better than him. His pop is better and i guess Snider threw a kid out at second on a wild pitch tonight yea i know he's a better catcher because yes Swaney is hitting .500 but they don't play the teams that LCC or Paulding plays. Snider is hitting around .450 hitting against teams like Coldwater, St. Henry, Wapak, Bath, ect.. You can say what you want but Snider is better no buts about it. Just being honest fellas

There is only one thing that will solve who is better and that will be when Allen East plays LCC head to head...mano y mano to see who is the better catcher...who hits the best and who plays better at their position

That might be one of the dumber things I've ever heard. Allen East and LCC bring two different pitchers, definitely of different calibers. No matter who LCC pitches, he will be better than the Allen East pitcher. Snider hit Cheney fairly well in Bluffton, so I have no doubt he will hit a Mustang pitcher even better, barring an off day.

Even if he doesn't hit better, baseball is a funny game. To say that one game will show who is the better player is nonsense. One game last year Billy Butler went 4 for 5 with 2 homeruns against the Cardinals. Albert Pujols went 0 for 4 with 2 K's. With cavsfans logic, Billy Butler is the better first baseman.

This is not a post bashing Swaney. Great player.

How did the Crestview LCC game end up? who pitched, who hit good, was it a good game, and who played well overall?

Nono Travis Clark pitched a gem and Snider hit well. LCC struggled against Zollars but battled back. Snider hit well and it was a team win. LCC has 0 errors and Crestview had around 5

You know what is amazing? People are being so judgemental about two young men who actually know each other. I heard (thru a very good source) that these two BOYS work out together at the AE's coach's house. Seems AE's coach and Sniders family are as close as family. Swaney worked together with Mike on hitting and catching for an entire summer. Snider's uncle evened mentioned how the boys use to tape their swings and then "tease" each other. It is a shame that these two young men can workout and compete against each other harmoniously, while the rest of the world wants to take pot shots. Also, kudos to AE's coach for welcoming anyone to his house regardless of school affiliation. Everyone just loves baseball and laughs together at some of the nonsense posted on this sight. While Mike plays baseball all summer and strives to be the best, Aaron maintains a balance of baseball and other interests including 4H, Fair Board, football, & basketball. Baseball has been a venue for these two young men to become friends and introduce Mike to the country and farm life. Give the boys a break. Also, there is not one bit of animosity between the two and they are amused by everyone else's view.

Blue-- You probably aren't happy after too many LCC games then..As a matter of fact, you haven't been happy after any of their Basketball games since 2008 then..

Congratulations Bluffton!!! What a win. Cheney proved to be POY. Their team is rolling. My JeffCats still have life. Love to see NWC teams knock off those MAC squads. Once again, GREAT WIN PIRATES!!!

What is the story on Crestview baseball? How many players did they lose? For how long? Are they done for the season?
