Due to the fact that Elida plays Wapakoneta this Wednesday and then again on Monday the 15th in the District Semi-Final, Elida will try to pitch Mohr both times, as they are going for the WBL Title and then the BIG Tourney Win.........But it will be interesting to see the strategies these two teams use in this situation........After Mohr, Elida does not have any "powerful" pitchers, but guys who are solid and should not be overlooked (Harmon, Hollar, Miller, Spain, Hawk, etc..).......

in the elida/st. mary's game...elida made too many errors and st. mary's took advantage.... the sectional game with shawnee, brooks mohr had 13 strikeouts to be exact....and the homerun by matt hampshire sealed the deal....can't wait for the wapak game....as for the district semi game with wapak.....any one for sure where it will be played? grove? elida? good luck dogs!

The first game of the Districts is at Elida........the winner then plays the District Title Game at Columbus Grove......

9 Innings.......Elida's Brooks Mohr comes up with two HUGE RBI Singles in the 7th and 9th Innings to bring the tying and winning runs across, respectively........Elida's Kyle Miller gets the W in relief of Justin Spain, who unfortunately exited after a short outing............so Elida moves to 22-3 on the regular season........up next is Away with Wapakoneta on Wednesday.........

Elida rained out last night at Wapak........The Bulldogs were up 7-5 in the Top of the 3rd........No make-up date has been announced yet........Elida also rained out tonight at Celina.........no rescheduled date for it either.........so up next for 22-3 Elida is Home with Wapakoneta in the District Semi-Final on Monday........

Due to this ridiculous weather, Elida's District Semi-Final Matchup with Wapakoneta has been postponed to Tuesday, May 16 at Elida.....The Celina Regular Season Game scheduled for Tuesday will most likely be moved to Wednesday, May 17.....and Finally, the Wapakoneta Regular Season Game will be finished up on Thursday, May 18.....All the Start Times are 5:00.....so, therefore, up next for 22-3 Elida is Home with Wapakoneta in the District Semi-Final Game on Tuesday.....

The District Semi-Final Game Home with Wapakoneta has been moved to Wednesday, May 17.....The Regular Season Battle Away between these two teams is slated for Thursday, May 18.....There is also a Regular Season Game Away with Celina, but I'm not sure of the date on that game.....stay tuned.......lol.......so up next for 22-3 Elida is Home with Wapakoneta in the District Semi-Final Game on Wednesday.........all start times are 5:00.....

6 Innings.....Elida brings out the bats again in this one as they outscore Wapakoneta 8-0 in the continuation of this game.......Elida's Kyle Miller pitched the 3rd-5th Innings and Scott Harmon pitched the 6th Inning with a 1,2,3 Ending right before the surprising rain ( )...........I believe Elida's Brooks Mohr gets the W though..........so Elida moves to 23-3 on the regular season........up next is Home with Wapakoneta in the District Semi-Final Game on Thursday.....also, sorry about the incorrect information before up there^^.....This game was the regular season battle.....Elida was going to play Away with Celina at Shawnee's Field Tonight at 7:00 under the lights, but the rain had something to say about that idea!!!.....haha.....Again not sure on when that game will take place now........stay tuned though........

Elida makes it two straight over Wapakoneta tonight.......this one happens to be a lot closer, but the bigger win, I guess.....haha......Elida's Brooks Mohr gets the W on the mound......and Elida's Scott Harmon hits a big 3-R HR which ended up being the deciding factor to this game......and he broke his nose earlier in the game before coming back and nailing a shot to Left-Center off of Brian Garman........Garman receives his second straight loss......both to Elida and the only two of the regular season/postseason......so Elida moves to 24-3 on the regular season........up next is Away with Defiance at Columbus Grove in the District Final Game on Friday.....

Final

Defiance wins the District Title......Congrats.........Elida moves to 24-4 on the regular season........up next is the season finale Away with Celina on Monday (unfortunately)......Officially the worst played game by Elida of the season IMO......BUT give Defiance credit for playing extremely well and deserving the win........perhaps the only shame in losing was the score deficit........Elida will and should be proud as they are still WBL Champs.....

Final

Elida's Brooks Mohr (9-0) finishes the season on a solid note, pitching a 4-Hitter and launching a Solo HR in the First Inning.......Also, Elida Senior Justin Bagley gets a nice RBI Single in the 7th Inning to close out his Career.....so Elida moves to 25-4 on the regular season.....and this game closes out their season, unfortunately, but Elida is officially the outright WBL Champs with a 8-1 WBL Record.....Congrats Guys and Thanks to all the Seniors for the great memories and the Best of Luck is wished to all of the Returning Players!!!.......
