As for Continental's facility:

Continental's facility is new and good. Not Great, yet. But, what it does have going for it is a handful of dedicated baseball people that are maintaining it very well, and taking great pride in it. They are also trying to make improvements/additions every year.

Well...once again....Im gonna have to say PH has this one (as far as NW Ohio goes) although
i have never seen Ottawa Hills since they always traveled in there limo-bus to my home town.....

I wouldnt be suprised if Ottawa Hills does have a very nice facility being how they are $$Loaded$$...

I am going to have to go with Moeller's field. It is an exact replica of Crosley Field (Old Cincinnati Reds field)...

Here are some pictures....

those are some nice pictures..That looks so much like a real minor league park...Wish I could have had the experience to play on something like that...I like the big score boards in the outfield....I like them except when they are dead center...
You'll be proud of our young people in the classroom, in the community, and most especially in 310 days in Ann Arbor, Michigan on the football field. - Jim Tressel

Yeah, that one is more towards right center. It has the last lineups ever at Crosley Field (Reds vs. Red Sox) on the score board... which is pretty cool.

The Ed Sandy field at Elida gets my vote - he personally puts a lot of quality time in keeping it that way too.

Gerald Parrat Field is by far the best in the state. If that is making a striking generalization, a few television channels have said the same.

They are putting a rot iron fence around it. It will be done in time for the Division 4 regional finals.

Bryan also has a nice stadium.

I am going to have to go with Patrick Henry with you Lester...I really love that field..I also didnt mind Ayersville baseball field either...Continentals is on its way up..

front row joe man ive played on there new field twice and let me say it isnt nothing compared to bryan's field but the best 2 r elida and patrick henry. i dont want to put u down but the clay is very rough around home plate. its not in my top ten.

I heard that the field is built off of all donations by the community and buisinesses...is that correct???

front row u are exactly correct. all the remodeling and such is all from donations and the players also go out and sell things to raise money which is a donation

og has a joke of a field ive played there also not very good at all.... patrick henry is a great field. and is still getting better. coldwater is a very nice facility also. sumpter field in bryan has a great atmosphere with the pines in center great memories there

man u ppl r a bunch of jokes.... i respect ur opinions but continental??? i know that field is coming up but its a joke. not in the same ballpark as patrick henry coldwater elida bryan and weezy archbold is a nice field but not the best. and i could see ottawa hills field being really really nice. ive seen many many fields and continental isnt on my list or ne 1 who has played there int he last few years list unless they have played in junkyards. and if ur a catcher u will hate it more than any others but has ne 1 seen tinora's new one hahaha there mound is like a bunch of dirt rocks thrown in a pile and they expect u to pitch off it.... one hint to all ppl who keep there field up. sry 2.... 1.hoe ur warning tracks.. nothin is worse than a weedy warning track. and 2. make the players work on it after practice and games. not big work but just rake it up and drag it also have team clean up days about 2, 3 times a year it helps a lot

crusader i have one thing to say........... WOW that field is really nice but one thing to help u with did they forget to put a good enough sized warning track or was that just form the look of the picture because it looked very small but wow that is a great field

sonofvoice, Ihave been to alot of parks around this area not Elida, Ottawa Hills, Coldwater, etc, I have been to PH and there field is elite. No Continental isn't as nice as there's, but as for a nice level field with a nice turf and edges cut on the infield it is still in the top ten in northwest Ohio. As far as homeplate being (qoute you) hard as a rock would you rather play in sand and not be able to get any grip or be able to dig in and get yourself set and not slip around when your in the box.

Fort Loramie has a nice facility. It's not stunning or anything but is well maintained and always looks great.

Channel 44 from Lima will be highlighting Gerald Parrat Field next week. I think they said next Saturday night but I'm not positive.

I would have to say PH. Coach I and his staff have done a great job with the field and the team. I can remember life without coach I.
