Did you guys have to flip for the 6th position or did Holgate get it due to less losses?

That was the vote. We would of went to that spot anyway. The only differance is we aren't the home team.

Do you know who Holgate's win was against? At least we did not draw the #1 like many times in the past when Ayersville was there. They always like to play us for some reason. I am guessing that is why Delta was at the Invitational since they are D3 now.

Not sure, the only time I talk to Carey is during softball season. Here is the link as soon as they update it though for the state.

Holgate split with Pettisville doubleheader sat.

If they just won their first game Sat. and C-town beat Leipsic who has a better record than P-ville, doesn't sound like the voting was very fair then to give us the last spot. Oh well, that is the way the ball has been bouncing for us this year.

We don't play Holgate though, we play Hicksville the first game of tournaments. Holgate plays Pettisville. That is why I was wondering about the seeding. H-ville is 5-12 and P-ville I think 2-12. We do not play Holgate until the end of the year and we have 2 games with them.

Do you know the whole situation? Do you know what was talked about at the meeting the team had prior to him being added? I am guessing not so please do not speculate on something you are not aware of. The coach is doing everything he can to make the program better with his time and efforts. If the players had a problem things should have been worked out at the meeting or brought to the coach's attention when they had a chance, not a public forum.

labatts69: You guess wrong. I am very aware of the situation. Seniors may be free to voice their displeasure, but underclassmen are not, as they do not want to jeapordize their chances for next year. We'll leave this out of the public forum until the season is over, then the school will be asked to define or re-define the policy for future years.
