This is not a joke or an error.......unfortunately this is the truth (I have no stats, I couldn't make it today)......Elida's undefeated regular season comes to an end......obviously not shocking to lose to a rich tradition like CW, but the first score is rather shocking....I figured Elida would at least score!....... mad.gif ..........but hopefully Elida can rebound and not let this weekend hurt them.......they are still one of the best teams in the Region, if not the State!..........so Elida moves to 16-2 on the regular season...........up next is Away with Leipsic on Monday.......... cool.gif

Dawger, with the super sectional at Elida coming up this weekend, who do you look for to make some noise? What happened to Wapak the other night with the Shawnee victory? It seems like anyone in this area is beatable...any stats on the Elida-Leipsic game with a Bulldog blowout?

Elida loses for the first time in the WBL........Therefore, Elida and Wapakoneta are tied in first place with one loss........The two teams meet Wednesday, May 10..........I did not attend the game tonight, so as a result I have no stats...........again, if you have them, feel free to post them here......so Elida moves to 20-3 on the regular season.........up next is Home with Shawnee in the Sectional Final on Saturday......... cool.gif

Elida's Brooks Mohr gets the W for Elida.......Mohr had at least 10 K's..........Elida's Matt Hampshire (DH) hits a Grand-Slam HR in his Second At-Bat on the first pitch.........so Elida moves to the District Tournament in Elida/Columbus Grove........so Elida moves to 21-3 on the regular season..........up next is Home with Van Wert on Tuesday (regular season game).......... cool.gif

Dawger, OK so Elida won their first tournament game against a respectable Shawnee club and I must respect the dogs for putting up 10 runs and the agressive baserunning. I heard that Jones got a big scholarship at Ohio State, the guy has a great arm, but do u think he's big enough to play in the Big Ten next season? But Dawger, my question is what do u think it is going to take for the Bulldogs to end up with a W against UC bound Garman, and past Brooks Mohr who are Elida's power pitchers that will carry them through the tourney? This should be an intriguing super sectional final...give me ur imput on this game
