Some exciting new things are happening here at Rocketcorner.com. We have added some new features. Most of you have already noticed that we have activated PMs. Now members with more than 10 posts can PM other members. Anybody with less than 10 posts are considered a new member until they make there 10th post. Then they become a full fledged member with PM ability.

A new feature on our homepage is the news article feeder. Some of the staff from OHSN has agreed to continue to write articles featuring games in NW Ohio. The articles will be loaded in real-time and displayed on our homepage. All articles are free and any registered member of Rocketcorner will be able to add their comments. Anybody interested in possible writing articles for our homepage can email Rocketman with your qualifications and a sample article. The pay stinks, but we may be able to get you a RC media pass.

Another exciting feature we will be bringing you is a photo gallery with pictures from games in your area. The photo gallery will be open to any Rocketcorner member who wishes to take pictures of High School sporting events and submit them to Rocketcorner for the world to see. All pictures will be organized in your very own gallery. Those interested, please contact Rocketman for details.

Another feature that we first brought last year was our Arcade. We just want to remind everyone that the Arcade is open and that now with access to PMs, you can now challenge other members to tournaments and individual matches in your game of choice. If anybody has any ideas for the arcade please let us know.

We have some new NFL, MLB, and NBA forums. Check them out!

We will also be hiring a sales team selling Ads for the Rocketcorner website. If you would be interested, we offer highly competitive commissions and a great work environment. Contact Rocketman for details.

We are still hoping that we can bring over some of the content from the OHSN.org website.

I want to thank Sis and Kyle from OHSN for getting this together.........this will be just another reason to visit the RC on a more regular basis...........we're planning some bigger things, but that cat ain't out of the bag just quite yet

I haven't played since last summer. At the time I stopped playing, I had over 1/4 (at least it was close to that) of the first place medals. I had more than double that of the lackluster chump in 2nd place! Regardless, I have medals (as do others) that are impossible to take away because the game has a limit in points that can be scored. First person to score that number will always have the medal. Then there are games that are just duplicates of others. Need to axe 'em. Showing Slice she wasn't any good at playing those games lost all luster!

Duh Huh Dull Sucks, which games have limits on points and are duplicates? Give me a list. Label them point limit or duplicate or whatever problem. I can turn any game on or off. I may even be able to up the points limits on the game. The customization is incredible.

All these new options are what got me to sign up. I would think that many more people will now sign up due to all these new and improved features. Just a great upgrade and an even greater improvement for Ohio's number 1 Free Website.

Just wondering what it takes to move from my new members status to a member? Is it a certain post count or is it based on a few days, weeks or months?
Also I see only about 3 people with a contributing member status. Could someone explain this?

10 posts moves you to member status.

Contributing members are those writers who are going to be writing articles for our homepage. They are the only ones who can start topics in this forum.

Could I have the meaning of the 'PIP image" acronym & what it denotes, please?

Also, what's a 'skin'? I 'member the kid that used to do our server thing a long time ago had suggested we should change our 'skin'??
