biggrin.gif what can I say? I still have to take time from my course of ninja skills, back flips, etc. to be updated on the soccer environment.. i love the game.. its just to bad I ended up with a gift of superior fighting skills rather than soccer skills... or is it ninja.gif

was at the LB/Riverdale game, very good game by both sides and riverdale had plenty of chances to score, one especially late in the game with an open net.
the one thing i saw was how much the LB players were talking to the ref and how the riverdale players barely said a word, i think thats good sportsmanship cool.gif

Liberty Benton = Mouthy & Dirty Play.......Period

Anyone who plays them knows this, so LB, shout me down if you will, seen a couple of your games in the past few years, everyone agrees.

Maybe LB should schedule Ottawa Glandorf to a cage fight on the soccer field.

Ouch. Worst loss ever to a PCL team.

There is a difference between playing physical and playing dirty. As a PCL team, we play physical (i.e., bumping, leaning, etc.). Dirty is striking off the ball, in the back, etc.). Dirty is what I heard LB did to PG last year. How many stretchers did PG need after their game? Talk travels fast around here in the PCL. excl.gif

What you "heard?" Sorry but you heard wrong. The player needing the "stretcher" last year happened on the final play of the game. Have you seen the size of LB's keeper? Do you know the size of the PG player who was injured?

Needless to say, why don't you wait to throw stones until you've witnessed the cheap shots. A 1v1 with the keeper on the last play of the game with the "backups" on the pitch. Don't remember the score but if I recall correctly it was a lot for LB and none for PG. Keeper comes out hard to stop the breakaway and keep the shutout. A big kid colliding with a small kid usually does not end up in the smaller one's favor!

Usually it is not a dirty play when the kid who's "doing the dirty" bends over and puts his face in his hands after realizing he hurt someone...

I recall seeing a dirty cheap play at the LB v. Temple Sectional game last year....LB player elbowed Temple player in the back of the head causing a concussion and smiling about it as he was yellow carded. (Should of been red, but thats a whole other post!)

Theodore- there was no Yellow cards awarded at the LTC LB game in the sectionals last year. (It was a nice try making the story more dramatic though). I do not remember this elbowing incident and in fact I remember it being a very clean well fought game.

I do not understand the need to rag on any single team for "dirty tactics".

Clean? Yellow card WAS issued and it should of been an instant RED. Allow me to refresh your memory nwsoccerfan1....
