Procell,
Good call.....my mistake. Having never worked a Legion tournament game I was wrong, from past experience in a regular season legion game in the player/coach is reinstated immediately.

-As for the game let's talk about the good things from what little I saw of this tournament....and not the negatives as far as ejections and what not.
-St Mary's major improvement from where they were last year.....going from a laughing stock to being very competitive.
-Also the same can be said for Van Wert who has a very nice ballclub with Bruns throwing.....and a very good offensive ballclub overall.
-Lima coming back from going 0-4 i believe in the regular season to win it by beating Van Wert twice in two days.

-Also I heard Piqua knocked out Troy down south? Is this true?......I was thinking that after having Troy twice this season that Frosty said they had been down to the state tournament close to twenty straight years?.....anything about this would be helpful.

-Any scores, updates from up north this weekend, and next week in District 1 would be helpful as well Brentwood

Ottawa tourney starts tonight, this includes Toledo, Napoleon and Ottawa all very good ball clubs. Any of these 3 teams could win this. Hard to understand how this district and St. Marys district could not have been redrawn to make a 4 and 5 team district instead of a 6 and 3 team district and change the competitive level a bit.

Ottawa Post 63 defeated Toledo 15 - 1 in seven innings. They move on to play Napoleon tomorrow night, 7:00 at Ottawa Memorial Park.
Don't blame me, I voted for Ron Paul!

Whitehouse beat Napoleon 7-5 and Pemberville beat Ottawa. I'm not sure who plays who now but Napoleon plays at Ottawa on Sunday at 4:30 against ?

Napoleon beat Portsmouth earlier today 13-10. Sandusky beat Alliance earlier in the battle of the unbeatens.

Alliance and Napoleon are playing now....0-0 after the 1st inning.

Winner plays Sandusky in championship tomorrow. Must beat them twice.

Regarding Lima Legion, they were 2 and out this year. Gave up a 5-3 lead going into 9th inning the last game.

Good run to get there, but overall just didn't have the good team hitting they had last year.

11-3 Napoleon over Alliance in the 8th. Looks like they'll be in the championship game tomorrow against Sandusky.

Must win two.
