og scored with my 25 mins left in the first half off of a header...they had other pretty good looks but kalida defenders were the ones to stop it from going into the goal....then in the second half maybe 15 mintutes into it a kalida person got ttripped up in the box so they got a pk.....it was a pretty good game the refs REALLY let them play on....it got a little out of hand.

....a little out of hand? C'mon, the officiating tonight was as bad as I've seen.....including the HS kids who ref my son's local weekend tournaments. The PK was called by the ref that was 40+ yards behind play while the ref in the box 10 or so yards away with a much better view called nothing. Kalida oughta start a football program because based on tonight's game, they'd be very, very good at it.....lol

id like to disagree, if they played football, theyd have to look for helmets big enough to fit their heads;)

last night there were three yellow cards.. all of them awarded to og, .. and kalida never really had any ligit shots on goal besides that pk

10soccer.....a Kalida player went down in the box, there was contact, but not nearly enough for a PK. The official IN THE BOX, no more than 20 to 30 FEET away lets the play continue. The official on the OTHER SIDE OF MIDFIELD, 50 YDS DIRECTLY BEHIND THE PLAY...makes the call. He talked to the other official for a few seconds then made it, it almost seemed as if the official in the box didn't agree, but the call stood. The entire game was this way, one official made almost every call, many of them from 30-40 yds away from play, while the other official seemed to just be enjoying the game like the rest of the spectators.....lol

So, a foul in the box needs to be 10 times harder?

Yes, it DOES need to be 10 times harder...especially when your team does not get the out come you had wishe for and worked all season for! Place the blame on the other team, the coaches and even the officials, rule #1 when being a sore looser, BLAME THE OFFICIALTING, football, basketball and yes SOCCER. This is how we justify NOT capitalizing on the many opportunities that game. Heck it's never the teams fault that looses. That would be ABSURD!

The correct word would be, "ABSURD." pav.gif (Defined as: "Contrary to reason or propriety; obviously and fiatly opposed to manifest truth; inconsistent with the plain dictates of common sense; logically contradictory; nonsensical; ridiculous; as, an absurd person, an absurd opinion; an absurd dream.") http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/absurd

ya i know of the kid who commited the foul in the box on saturday.. and it looked like he was really beating himself over that move he made

i personally dont think it was a foul but the player was being stupid slide tackling in the box.. i would almost guarentee thats the last time he ever does that again
