Just a little fun fact.

Bluftton's football team has 35pts this year. Granted they have had three games, but the soccer team has 41 goals so far.

Owned.

Deuce, couple of reasons....Temple went through a few lean years when they just were not real competitive. Add to that no JV team and then throw in a side of terrible field.

There are a few teams that dropped them for that reason.

Goin2goal:

Your comment, "throw in a side of terrible field" stands correct most of the time. However, the field had extensive work done prior to the Kalida game and the grass was not only green (during this drought), but was also striped!

I never had a problem with TC's field. After playing at Ottoville and Van Buren, it was like Crew Stadium.

Speaking of Crew Stadium. Columbus Won last night 4-0 against the New England Revolution. I was there. It was an amazing game.

I heard that during the floods of 2007 (remember Findlay & Ottawa flooding last year?) some vandals took 4-wheelers onto Temple's soccer field, did donuts, created many hills, valleys and dug deep ruts. In fact, the damage was so extensive that they considered renting Lima Stadium for their home games this year. Unfortunately, while some of the neighbors saw these criminals, by the time the police got there, they disappeared.

It's just too bad cause Bluffton is scoring all these goals against teams that just aren't up to par this season.

But still to have 41 goals in the first half of the season is an achievement no matter who u play

Actually Jawbreaker Kalida ends with OG every year. This year it is at O-G.

Thats great but I never said Bluffton was Kalida's last game. Kalida is Bluffton's last game. Hence the reason why I posted Bluffton's schedule.

What about five goals against Defiance? I realize beating up on Bath and Ada aren't very impressive, but I thought Defiance was fairly good this year?

I know this isn't a thread about Bluffton's football team. But it's a little bit pathetic that The soccer team has scored more points than the football team.

Don't they deserve it?

I had them at 3 before the season started. I had OH at 1 and their record does not earn 1 at this time. Kalida I had at 2 before and they barely beat temple 1-0 with a few minutes left in game. I was considering moving Blufton higher but I want to see them play a very hard team 1st. Looking at the online stats Kalida beat Van buren 2-0 and Temple beat Van buren 3-1 Seems like they are pretty close to each other? Kalida I hear, beat Miller City 3-0 tonight.

Who do you think should be in top 10 right now?

well i agree with you on wanting to see Bluffton play tougher teams. I agree that Temple deserves it but we will see once they play miller city and ottoville later this season. They have had great conditioning. so u really think Temple is one of the top 3 teams in northwest ohio for division 3? I AGREE.
