"wrong, c-r outplayed bluffton in the second half 2-1. WITH c-rs starting defense. WITHOUT c-rs starting defense playing the first half bluffton completly annhilated the sub that cory had put in which gave them an early lead. and yes the pk's were crap because the same thing happened to one of c-r's forwards and they didnt get the pk. one ref was whistle happy and the other didnt say crap"

.... ok, you mean CR outplayed the nonstarters that Bluffton put in, which they barely did.
In addition, CR still had their starters out on the field all throughout that second half, where Bluffton subbed out basically their entire offense.
So, say what you want, but I think the first half speaks for itself, and no single defender would have held the score from being less than 5 at the half.

You guys said it was going to be a good game and so I went. Here is what I saw. Both teams defenses need some work. Both teams were extremely flat in the back. At first I thought that the score would be something like 10-9 becuase a good through ball could have torn either defense apart. Cory had one real nice player up top that gave bluffton's defenders a lot of troubles. Bluffton is really solid in their attack. Bluffton controlled the flow of play. Bluffton is very good at possessing the ball. Cory got the ball and had some nice chances on several counter attacks. I thought both of Blufftons pk were deserving, but on the other hand, Cory had a good arguement on a foul in the box on the other end of the feild. I did notice Bluffton making a lot of Subs about 15- 20 mins into the second half so that could have changed the score a little bit. In the end I think that Cory has a nice team but tonight Bluffton was just too much for them tonight. Good luck to both teams!

Im guessing your a fan or a player of the bluffton soccer team rolleyes.gif Bluffton still had their starters on. Bluffton was dazed that they got played out in the 2nd half. Fullbacks were getting out ran by CR's #12 and #7 and that Parke kid got together and only alowed one goal in the last half. The only one's that were better in the last half were blufftons mid field getting back and trying to make runs for the forwards

Oh mylanta... quit whining... bluffton was the better team... if every starter was in for both teams bluffton still would have come out on top. You have to admit. Bluffton is a great team. So is cory rawson. But we all know who's better.

madbench,
of course im a fan...hence "bohFAN" as my name
and how can you say that Bluffton kept their starting offense in when (if you were at the game) you could clearly see that all the forwards and midfielders weren't starters
you must have missed that

You would be 'dazed' if you were up 5-1 at halftime as well. I'll bet Bluffton resembled Carey in the second half of the football game last Friday with BHS after being up 35-7 at halftime. No need to get anyone hurt in a game that's out of reach. Just get through the second half and move on to the next game.

OK. you abviously did not watch the game. first of all Jaden August blufftons best player was injured and sat out most of the game. but even then they scored a PK, then a goal from the lest, then followed from the right, then they came from the center, then they ended the half coming from the right, so if bluffton picked on this one kid then why doesn't the coach stop him from playing the entire field. seconed of all when the starter was subed in bluffton's starters were not stopped. the coach started subbing with 30 minutes left. and i did not know Andrew dulle (sub), Gabe Goldsbary (sub) Jared (sub) Jackson Bush (J-V/ sub) David Hooley (J-V/sub) and Lucis Harnish (J-V/sub) are now considered starters. i thought they had to start the game to be starters. then all subbing was done with 23 minutes left. and to top it off their midfielders were playing defence. But you are right about starters playing the whole game, the starting keeper did play the whole game, but he was the only one. so yes CR's defence did keep their STARTING keeper from scoring. GREAT GAME DEFENCE!!!!

oh gosh..i was gone for a day and it took me half an hour to read all of this. I think that tournaments will come around and there may be a rematch. hopefully, if all starters are out on the field at the same time, we can end this argument. So how bad is August?
