well both c-r and bluffton are good teams. it will be a good test for c-r's keep if bluffton can get off another 18 shots (bluffton v ada)

The Bluffton/CR should be a good one. Bluffton has an explosive offensive and CR's defense is their strength. I am looking forward to going to the Kalida and Lima Temple game. These are truely two of NW Ohio's best. My predictions Kalida 4 Lima 2, and upset special Ft. Jennings 2 Continental 1

Bluffton 6 CR 3

CR didnt play one of their top defenders which may have contributed to the one sided score. They did play him the second half and CR won that half 2-1.
I think this was a pretty big game because correct me if im wrong, dont they seed the tournaments based on season results? Anyway, both teams did well.

it would have been a completely different game if they had played their whole back line. their defense is definitely one of the top in their league if they can play there starting back line

I think Kalida is going to win. They play well with each other. Does anyone know the scores to the games they have played thus far?

The second goal in the second half of the CRvB game was when their starting defense was out. The first goal was when the subs were starting to come on the field.

I'm assuming Parke is who you're talking about? The defender? All he did was take goal-kicks and a few stops at the endline.

Springfield Catholic Central 1
@Botkins 1

SCC - Lathum
Botkins - Egbert

Well played match among two defensive minded teams. 1st goal Botkins has given up this season.

i dont know where you are getting your facts but he didnt play the whole first half and he came in at the beginning of the second. And obviously turned the game around. Thw whole second half no one got by him. Blufftons goals came from elsewhere. The first half bluffton did a very good job penetrating that weak side when Parke was out.

CR coaches didnt play Parke because he missed some practices because of the fair.

Miller City - 5
Bryan - 2

Goals by:
Wenzinger (4)
Rieman (1)

MC is now 5-0-0 With Archbold (club team) on Thursday, and the big game at home Vs. Kalida next Tuesday. It should be exciting to see how this week plays out and how much momentum MC might have if they go into the Kalida game 6-0. But archbold shouldn't be overlooked at any cost.

Say what you want, make as many excuses as possible, but Bluffton beat the Hornets after the first half. After expecting an intense 10 minutes at the start of the second half and observing that Bluffton had just out-ran, out-scored, and, by far, out- played CR, the head coach started putting in non-starters and swingers in valuable positions...The game was over! The score WOULD have gone into double digits if the starting line would have continued to beat up on the Hornets, but the coach did not want to take any risks of injuries. I don't understand why everyone believed that the Bluffton- CR game was going to be so good... mellow.gif

wrong, c-r outplayed bluffton in the second half 2-1. WITH c-rs starting defense. WITHOUT c-rs starting defense playing the first half bluffton completly annhilated the sub that cory had put in which gave them an early lead. and yes the pk's were crap because the same thing happened to one of c-r's forwards and they didnt get the pk. one ref was whistle happy and the other didnt say crap

I agree, this is going to be a true test for this still young Temple squad against #6 Kalida, If Temple plays the way they are capable of I'll take Temple 2 Kalida 1.....Temple needs a big game out of their Keep !
