And over all top to bottom there has not been too many leagues more dominant than the PCL. They are better this year and I do not think any league will be tougher to win thats all I am saying. Any of the teams could be a legitimate contender because all of the teams this year have some serious talent. And I agree with the coach lets talk about something else or better yet, lets not because it seems almost every thread here over the last couple of months turns stupid in here....

knightmare.. i hate to harp on you because ur one of the few who actually posts worthwile comments.. but please do not make general comments like "the pcl is one of the strongest confrences top to bottom around" because they are by far on the low end of the totem pole in ohio.... u can hardly consider the pcl that great of a league in northwest ohio...i would say that is a "descent" league.... u should be rooting for your schools league anyways =)

ps i know u guys all love the PCL so i know i'm gonna get flack for this.. but please look at the bigger picture

To tell you the truth, around here, PCL is one of the higher end leagues.

How do you mean higher end leagues?

Let's take a look at "around here".

There is PCL: Kalida, Ft J, Ottoville, MC, PG and Continental
There is WBL: Shawnee, OG, Celina, ELida, Defiance, Bath, Kenton, Wapak, St Mary's and Van Wert
There is GBC: Findlay, Napoleon, Marion Harding, Fremont Ross, Lima Sr and Sandusky
NCOSA: Ada, Riverdale, Cory Rawson, Calvert, Mohawk, Van Buren and Upper Sandusky
MSSL: Liberty Benton, Genoa, Eastwood, Calvert, Fremont St Joe CC, Lake and Old Fort

Outside our area but in NW Ohio:
NLL: Anthony Wayne, Bowling Green, Northview, Perrysburg, Southview, Maumee, Springfield, Rossford
NWOHSSL ~ American Division: Ottawa Hills, Toledo Christian, Oregon Clay, Maumee Valley, Toledo Central Catholic, Swanton, Emmanuel Baptist
NWOHSSL ~ National Division: Toledo Start, Toledo Whitmer, Cardinal Stritch, Bowsher, Otsego, Toledo Rogers, Toledo Waite

Around here I'd rank
1) WBL
2) PCL
3) GBC Findlay and Napoleon could jump this league to #2
4) NCOSA
5) MSSL

NW Ohio
1) NLL
2) WBL
3) NWOHSSL ~ American Division
4) PCL
5)GBC
6) NCOSA, NWOHSSL ~ National Division
8) MSSL

Just my two cents...

1. Where did you rank them?

2. What did I say? One of the highest.

3. Point Proven. Thank you.

Find it hard to believe that we can place a DIII league above a league with one of Ohio's best programs (Findlay) and a DII Semifinalist (napoleon). Before anyone says anything, I coach in one of the DIII leagues listed above so this isn't a Findlay snob boasting. Granted, the rest of the GBC, Napoleon aside, is very weak.

thanks toffee... if we're talking top to bottom and best team in league here's my ranking... all u pcl lovers will be loving this.. (so all of u will be loving this)

1.) GBC, or WBL (although the WBL is just realy physical soccer with a little less skill then some of these leagues, and even some of the lower end GBC teams could beat some of the higher end PCL or MSSL or NCOSA teams)
2.)NCOSA ( Many Solid year after year programs)
3.)MSSL (LB, Genoa, and Eastwood-- half of the leauge could stomp most of the teams in the NCOSA and PCL.. but there lower half keeps them from being higher)
4.) PCL ( how far do these teams ever go in the playoffs?.. sorry.. they have a few descent programs dont get me wrong)

Also, the NWOHSSL and the NLL as a whole could beat about 65 percent of the teams in the leagues above ^
all this should prove that as i've previously stated the PCL is NOT one of the better leauges around

that should keep everyone hating me for weeks =).. but like i said in one of my earlier posts.. u need to look at the bigger picture and not have a slanted view

Don't quite agree with the "and even some of the lower end GBC teams could beat some of the higher end PCL or MSSL or NCOSA teams." Harding, Ross, Sandusky and Lima Senior couldn't cope with the best teams from PCL, Liberty from the MSSL or the good NCOSA teams.

And as for anyone hating you for a few weeks...I wouldn't worry too much as, well, you are entitled to your opinion.

Although you are endearing yourself to the NCOSA crowd with that gracious rating.
