Alright, so I currently reside in Muncie, IN. Muncie is home to a very dominate volleyball program. The Munciana Volleyball Club volleyball team has been dominating in club volleyball for many years. It was only in the past decade that the teams from the big cities started to catch up in a big way. Muncie and Delaware County (the county Muncie is located in) are home to many great high school teams also. At the top of the list is Muncie Burris. The Owls of Burris have won 19 State Championships, including 11 straight in class 2A (pretty much the equivalent to DIII in Ohio; and Indiana went to class play in 1997. Muncie Central (4A or DI) and Delta (3A or DII) have been very good as well other smaller schools Wapahani and Wes-Del.
Ok, now for my question. Are there any teams that compare in dominance in Ohio? I know some teams make runs like this over a number of years...but there is no team to my knowledge like those here in Muncie.

Who are some of the dominant teams

I don't think we have any teams in Ohio that can match 19 state titles. But, not because volleyball is down in Ohio; much the opposite. Volleyball is very good here and it would be extremely difficult for one school to win so many titles. There's a lot of parity here. There are perennial powers in many cities, but one would probably consider the Division I Catholic Girls Schools in the Cincinnati area as the best.
