whoa.....aefan. Are you a fan or a hater? Have to agree with my man from Crestview. You need to check your self and quit making it personal. I haven't been on in a while, broke an ankle on the ice. But obviously, the folks from the western part of the county are sure a lot more positive and compasionate of their kids than the eastern side. Remember, these are kids. My orginal statement comes from watching fall ball and the kid hit some rockets out. Back to back. As a matter of fact, I enjoy watching my grandson play and their teams were playing each other. I take note of all the young players from the region. It is a great atmosphere down there. All my buddies (old farts) are like you, armchair quaterbacks enjoying watching our children's children participate in everything. Even the school play. We talk all day at the shop about every team in northwest Ohio in every sport. But since my wife passed, I learned of this sight to pass some lonely hours and can not believe some peoples comments. From what I gather, you folks out there need something to get behind and cheer for. A fan (?). Nothing brings a community together quicker than a winning team. I saw your basketball team and football teams this year....and then have read about your teacher issue. Anyways, the director of the fall leagues say the boy might be going to a junior college and that he has a tremendous upside. The fellows at the shop and I figure your vendetta, for whatever reason must be personal, and that you have never played a sport in your life and are quick to critisize everything and everyone. A fan? Since you are in that district maybe you are frustrated by all the negative comments of late concerning your teacher, school and lack of success in other sports.....(except wrestling). Quick story, I took my grandson to Cleveland last summer to see the Indians and Grady Sizemore struck out twice! Makes millions a year. Imagine that. What a bum....but he can run. I have to agree with the gentleman from Crestview, Briggs is a phenominal athlete and I wish good luck to all the young men in the N.W.C. Go WILDCATS!!

when talking catchers, the kid from paulding is a good one. He has hit 400 or higher since his sophmore year. He threw out a ton of runners this summer, so keep a lookout for him.

yeah its been a rough going fo allen east. Curt has been working hard at practice. I would love to see him reach POY potential. But i dont think its positive for him to be thinking about that. Just go out there have fun and try to win. If he and his team mates can do that then Curt has a good chance for some votes.

I think that Dysert wins the MVP in the league if HE wants to bad enough. He is the best overall athlete, in my opinion, and what a trifecta, MVP in FB/Bkb/Baseball. It all depends upon how badly he wants to sweep the award.

not to take anything away from dysert, but orsbon is the best athlete in the conference and the area. dysert does have the best arm in the conference though as far as i know.
