actually i'm not from ottawa hills but i played against them in the regular season last year. they seemed to be very good and everyone thought they would go far but they went out early in the tournament. will it happen to them again as everyone thought they were the best last year?

Well they lost a couple key senior players, but they have a very young talented team. Last year was a good year for them, they had a fluke goal scored against them in sectional finals in the last 2 minutes of the second overtime. I wouldnt be surprised to see them go alot farther than last year.

They won't go much farther than that again.

As far as the PCL goes, yes, kalida will definately be in the running for another title, to back up the one they shared with MC last year. Ft. Jennings and Ottoville are most likely going to be good as well, but anything can happen once tournament season rolls around.

And as far as Miller City goes, they are probably the team with the most returning starting seniors. Schroeder and Brown for the defense most likely joined by Brad Steffan (also a very quick senior), Rieman who was moved to Midfield last year will be starting again this year and could be joined by a few new faces, John Leis who is a little lanky but is a very good midfielder and Jon Wiener who is also not the best but sure can stop the ball from getting past him so he can make the play. Wenzinger and Giblin up front as the forwards joined by most likely a junior, and there are many other seniors playing on this team as well. Other Juniors most likely returning as starters would be Klear, A. Konst, and Niese (goalie)

Yes I am from Miller City, and that is why i'm putting this info out there. They are often looked over as a team and are also often greatly underestimated when looking for the best teams in the league. Other schools will have to watch for them as well throughout the season.

of all of the PCL teams, I look for Miller City to have the deepest tournament run..maybe not win the PCL, but they are very talented and they have a desire to win...and that will be dangerous for any team that plays them...

Hah, that reminds knightmare, to back when Riverdale played Miller City and beat them 5-1, they looked like a new generation wife and husband, bickering at each other. They kinda fell apart. It was funny because Riverdale tore it up.

they were still on the field though which is better than three years ago when they did not want to play becuase it was raining too hard. every team gets some in fighting at some point or another....

kalida will be the team to beat this year because last year they only lost a couple of times and they have almost the same starting lineup as last year.

And if you look at what is happening right now, the PCL has some of the best teams and players in NW Ohio...the past couple of years have been a little back for the PCL no doubt but I pitty any team that has more than one or two PCL on the schedule....

Ok? Why would you pitty them if you just said they havent been the best the past couple years?

From the WBL there will be some very strong teams Celina is returning everyone from last year. Shawnee returns a lot from last year as well as OG does also. I also look for Elida to bounce back from a rough season last year. Other teams to watch out for are Kalida, Bluffton, as well as Greenville.

Celina has beaten Kalida 2 out of the past 3 years except for last year kalida scored with 12 seconds left in the game and won 3-2
