Got this from the Delphos Herald...Which of these players are back this year?
Orsbon (160 points) hit .485 for the Knights this year with four home runs and 26 RBIs, with a slugging percentage of .912. He beat out defending NWC Player of the Year Geoff Bowers of LCC (148 points) for the 2007 honor.
Other first-team NWC baseball selections were Nate Vermillion (142) and Zac Dysert (124) of Ada; Crestview’s Cory Schneider (141) and Ryan Myers (109); Travis Kottenbrock (122) and John Stanovich (113) of LCC; Adam Wietholter (111) of Bluffton and senior Kory Thatcher (105) of Lincolnview.

Earning second-team honors were Jarod Riley (89) of Paulding, Derek Neu (82) of Columbus Grove; Cody Michaud (81) and Matt Myers (70) of Crestview; Curt Yetman (76) of Allen East; Jefferson sophomore infielder/pitcher Josh Miller (72), senior pitcher Matt Miehls (49) of Spencerville; Tony Caprella (40) of LCC; Michael Allen (39) of Ada; and senior pitcher/infielder/outfielder Mitch Ringwald of Lincolnview.

On the honorable-mention list: senior pitcher/infielder Chris Boyd (27) of Lincolnview, Devin Kisor (26) of Bluffton, Chris Phlipot (26) and Cory Sholl (7) of Paulding, Chad Werling (25) of Allen East, Jeremy Pederson (23) of Ada, sophomore third baseman/pitcher Sean Fisher (22) and junior catcher Adam Kraning (7) of Jefferson, sophomore shortstop Nate Bogart (20) of Columbus Grove; and Cory Michaud (13) and Josh Harmon (9) of Crestview.

ADog, didn't you have trouble getting the ball from third to first in less than 2 bounces?

OK ...I see you scouted me... but it didn't matter how many bounces it took to get it there....becuase that would mean I didn't let it roll between my legs!LOL.....

Does anyone know if Allen East will have their baseball field ready this spring? Driving past I see what looks like it might be the softball field, but do not see a baseball field.

I not only scouted you, I was on your team. Now it's your guess.

allen east does not have a field. No constuction has even began. A sad way to send off there seniors. All games will be away. They only have blacktop to practice on at the time being and indoors of course.

Can AE use their old field - or has it been torn up?

Also - ADog how about an Ada preview? Who else is back besides Vermillion and Dysert?

Yeah. I am wondering who will be back for a number of teams. Ada has some players back, I know Crestview seems to be consistant...is Orsbon back? What about the other teams. I know I put this up before from the Delphos paper, but I was wondering if anyone knows who's back from the list below. Thanks.

Hey Adog ! I think Boomerpete doesn't have a clue who you are. I don't think anyone who played with us, wastes time on here, like you and I !

I don't think Adog and I were on any teams that competed for NWC, as I recall a .500 season senior year might have been best effort.

I saw the WLTW team segments. Does everyone agree LCC and Ada will battle it out? Crestview? Delphos Jefferson? Paulding? Others? It looks like a couple of teams will be very young. Columbus Grove, Bluffton...will any of the teams be "spoilers"?
