We are a little over three weeks away, so who is your favorite to win it all?

I am going to go with Rocky Top, that is to say University of Tennessee!!

I was thinking the same thing today as I was watching the games......I'm not a huge bball follower during the regular season, (HS or college) 'til we start getting to this time of year and I LOVE it!!!

And as far as Tennessee, knight, as long as I don't have to hear, Good Ole Rocky Top" anytime while I'm sober!!!! Man, that's SOOOO annoying! eek.gif

I'll get my pick in soon.

******* Oh geesh! I'm not even done posting and that song is stuck in my head just from thinking about it!!!!! UUURRGGHHH!!!! wallbash.gif

It won't be Tennessee.

At least I hope not.

Memphis or North Carolina

I usually don't decide on my champion until the bracket comes out and I see the matchup. Right now I'd have to give the edge to UNC or Memphis, depending on how healthy UNC is.

I don't think Tennessee will win it all, and I actually think they have a better chance of being upset and not even making it to the Sweet 16. All depends on if the 3s are falling.

I watched the Xavier v. Tennessee game. X had that game won until some strange calls starting coming out of the woodwork (going both ways, mind you). I think UNC is probably my favorite assuming, as stated, they are healthy.

I will also say that the big time teams should look out for Xavier.

Xavier was playing such a high level of ball earlier in the year, but have kind of just kicked it into neutral lately. They seem to be barely skimming by some teams they should be destroying. They need to get back to those games where they are hitting 16 3-pt shots during the win.

There will be a lot of this come march madness:

I hope UNC stays #1 in the Detroit Region because I've got tickets to the sweet 16/elite 8 and can't imagine a better team to see again than my Tarheels.

I think some of the close games will help Xavier. Nothing worse than a team who plays a tough non conference schedule then breezes through conference play without getting tested. That's been Memphis's biggest problem the past few years IMO. Once they had to play a close game or two in in a row, they couldn't handle it.

That mostly depends on if Duke decides to be a whiny lil' pissant and play dirty again. Duke not in line for a top seed last year, so they play like schoolyard bullies. Serves 'em right to get bounced early.

Who won the game still? Arrogance 101 is a class at Dook, that's for sure. It also rubs off on the fans.

Like bulldog said, why? Is duke going to cheapshot him again when they realize unc is going far in the tourney like last year while puke repeats losing in the first round for the 2nd year in a row?
