Right now, Ohio St has the 68th toughest schedule, 8th in the Big 10. In comparison that would be good enough for 7th tougest in the Big East.
Every team in the PAC 10 and ACC has a stronger schedule and all but one SEC team does.
I see virtually NO comparison between this year and 2002. Other than that team was loaded with future NFL stars. There's a few dudes on the defensive side for this team but that's it.

Vic,
Are you saying that there isn't one player on the offensive side of the ball that will ever play in the NFL?

And if you think what I`m saying is crazy, please save my statements here and burn me at a later date. I`m sure I won`t even get a tan.

Boeckman reminds me a lot of Rothlesberger.

I'm talkin studs. Beanie Wells does not impress me. He's a nice college back but he's not gonna be anything in the NFL. Too slow without any moves and can't catch OR hold onto the ball and is too injury prone. I question his work ethic and love for the game as well. I think he'll leave after his jr yr and vanish like a fart in the wind.
Robiskie will make a roster. Barton and Boone should have nice careers.
Boeckman could be a 2nd day pick and hold a clipboard for a long time, which is not a slam by the way. Quality backups are very valued in the NFL.
Freeman, Jenkins, no problem. Russell and Washington could have nice careers. If Gholston can get on a workout program that doesn't include "supplements" he would be nasty. I wouldn't start Lauranitis on an NFL team if you held a gun to my head, but he is rated high at this point and should leave early.
Look at the 2002 team:
All these guys are still in the league; Simon Fraser, Mike Doss, Donnie Nickey, Matt Wilhelm, Will Allen, Adrian Clarke, Chris Gamble, Ben Hartsock, Mike Jenkins, Shane Olivea, Will Smith, Alex Stepanovich, Mike Nugent, Drew Carter, Bobby Carpenter, AJ Hawk, Nick Mangold and the infamous Maurice Clarett.
There are very few college teams that have EVER done that let alone sustained it in the league this long. They were super talented.

So are you saying that Boeckman is going to try to headbutt a car with his face?

And Vic, a guy like Aj Hawk is still in the NFL

Greenville won a game this season? What, did you get a win by forfeit? Or did you pick up a game against the school for blind kids again?
Heh heh heh...you know I am just razzin' ya' Greenwave. You weren't around earlier in the month to defend against my comments as to why Wapak was no good this year, so I have to find time to get under your skin by making fun of Greenville as best possible!!!
