Well, the starters played the entire game and where playing there hardest! The Rockets just out played them! Riverdale had alot of off sides calls today and they where playing! I have seen Riverdale play acouple games this year and it is the same players out on the field today as the other games. Coach Hayfield team was just outplayed today.

www.websters.com before you post next time.

I guess you didn't hear about the red card during the VB game, and the tackle in under a minute into the second half at the CR game. That was the #8 that 2much2handle was talking about for POY.

Think before you post.

The Riverdale boys should feel just like Kalida did after they tied VB, only, this was a loss.

And if he (Hayfield) had something up his sleeve well he forgot to get it out. The Riverdale team was punished today after the game. Coach Hayfield had them running around the outside of the Rockets soccer field acouple times. So "Formercoach" I don't think that Riverdale thought that the Rockets could beat them and I can't imagine that Coach Hayfield would have never done that to the team running and yelling at the Riverdale team after the game about how he could not believe that they (Riverdale) just got beat by Pandora-Gilboa and was yelling at them during halftime where the parents of both teams could hear what a embarrassment to the Riverdale players and parents. The Riverdale team played hard and they did not deserve to be put out like that in front of the Pandora Gilboa Players and parents. And as far as to saying it was a meaningless game for Riverdale. Well Wake up Riverdale you got schooled by a well deserved Pandora- Gilboa Rockets and I think that maybe the Rockets could be called the Cinderalla Team. Good game to both teams today

Riverdale was without a couple key players and this is what happens when you over estimate someone, hats off to PG they showed up to play. As for the coaching aspect let hayfield coach as he pleases that riverdale team will be just fine. We will see how good your rockets are when they play bluffton.

Riverdale was without 3 starters, 2 of which are captains & 2 of which are the leading scorers. There was no yelling after the game (half time yes) and the players chose to run themselves it did not come from the coach. In fact, Hayfield didn't utter a word after halftime.

Congrats to the PG team.

Only for this game, PG has already shown that they are a not so good team. Kalida vs. VB was the first game of the regular season, so VB had the potential to be a dominant force, especially coming off of the preseason tournament games. If Kalida tied VB the last game of the season, I'd feel down, but anything can happen at the beginning of a season.

Instead, Kalida and OG tied 0-0. I am sure Kalida could live with that easier than a tie to VB.

That's correct.

So Benchwarmer, you're saying that surprises only happen at the beginning of the season? wallbash.gif

Not quite entirely true Rembrandt. I did mention running after the game at halftime in an effort to light a fire. After the game I was walking to bus, turned around and saw the boys running. I assume they felt they had to. I owe them an apology and will make it right. I owe P-G an apology also as it must have looked disrespectful. Sorry.

As for the yelling, there was 2 minutes at halftime & nothing at all after that.

There are 11 players on the feild and 1 player #8 does not make a entire team. And if that 1 player #8 is why they lost then Riverdale maybe Riverdale needs to learn they can't rely on there so called 1 player #8 that they needed to win! Billwouldrather It just sound like you and the Riverdale team are both crying in your cereal! The rest of the Riverdale team needed to step it up since that 1 player#8 was not able to play because of the RED CARD. well if you play like that then a RED CARD is deserved and that 1 player #8 HERES YOUR CARD! and maybe that 1 player #8 should play the other football football.gif

I wallbash.gif trying to read that.

And, #8 is not the one that received the red card. They were missing 3 starters as stated earlier. So, next time, as I said before, for the sake of all of us, think before you post.

EDIT: And, I'm not crying in anyones cereal. It sounds like you're just jealous of Kalida tying VB. Since you are from the PCL and all. biggrin.gif Just joking with you.

No one is crying at Riverdale. These things happen. They'll move on.

Folks were just refuting a few comments you made (i.e. "riverdale's normal team" & that yelling tirade by Hayfield, minus the 2 minutes admitted at halftime, that never happened), as if they were bona fide facts, that were in fact wrong. Once again, congrats on your win.

And as far as Riverdale only relying on "so-called" #8 (I can assure you that he exists and wears #8) you've missed the mark again. Riverdale has a good team, as do many in the area. That doesn't bely the fact that when one part is missing, let alone 3 VERY IMPORTANT parts, the overall effectiveness of a any team will dip. You need all elements of any machine for it work in ITS DESIRED MANNER. A Porsche won't run if its missing spark plugs...and no I'm not calling RHS a Porsche.

Having said all of this, P-G won on Saturday. It was a great day for their program.

Right country. Horribly wrong company. More like an 86 diesel Volkswagon Golf. Wonderfully efficient, dreadfully slow. Just like I was as a player.

Hmmm.... I would be a 78 Chevy pick-up. Good to have around to haul stuff, low gas mileage. Looks like junk, but is an old reliable. smile.gif Oh yeah, it has a spare tire.
