I don't think anybody accused of that...its common sense...don't just worry about any one player...if they shut down everyone and don't allow anybody to score... you are ensured a tie at least... But, that being said, at this point I think the score will be close...possibly even a tie... to early to call right now.

It's not looking too likely anymore; we're only winning the easy games now. Tournaments will be interesting this year, but our season record isn't about to be saved. We'll see what happens against Bluffton Tues. to see what will happen for the rest of the season...

VB can't turn the season around now. Beat by Bluffton by a significant margin tonight stops any momentum we had. We'll see what happens in turneys though, could be a surprise...

Hows everything going for Vb? I heard from a reliable source that Smith lost his captaincy and Swaisgood benched some starters for missing practice on Friday...but I dont know if there is any truth in that.

I had heard that also. If that's true and only lost to Bluffton by 5 or 6 then ....

During practice, Swaisgood has everyone do all of the drills, doesn't matter if you are a keeper or a forward, a frshamn JV player or a Senior varsity player, so really anybody could play for the Varsity team at any spot...but if that is the truth...then I guess, well played sort of...

So, just like it was going to be Ada's year this year.

beer.gif Only time will tell. VB tied Kalida and are doing good, so, from what I know, I could be wrong.

Thats the thing, when VB plays well, they play very well, and when they play bad...they might have well just stayed on the bus.... lets hope that if Vb wants to do something this post season, they play well...or at least get off the bus.... GO KNIGHTS!

here it is. Friday i skipped 30 min of pratcice so did tropf and smith we 3 got benched for 30 min. Tyler adams wasent in school and neaither was josh ayers? Theres goes most of are defence. Jessie got suspended by the school casue when we played aginst old for he lied about how many periods he was in school so he could play. Most the team knew he wasent in long enough and when coach found out jeff took away smiths capitin casue he didnt tell coach. Dwights good friend chaz johnson died so dwight didnt come. So we had 3 startes sitting and 4 who couldent play.By the time smight tropf and merrick(me) got in we where down 2-0. and we just couldent do it with out our other startes the goile was upset at the 2 being scored. But when we got in the frist half with aobut 10min to go we put a lot of pressure on them. we just couldent turn things around the secound half. Come tourneys i have confidence we can take them esaly though. It took them 25 min to score on bascially on our jv team no affence guys. They did play very well though and a lot of hard hits not being called beat us up a bit so we will see how things go. Sorry for writeing so much but just wanted to make sure everyone knew the whole story.

While the JV was in they held the score 0-0 but then when he started to put Varsity players in they started to score.
I think the Varsity players did not put pressure on Bluffton's defense enough because they had time to play good balls and Varsity Stabbed at the ball
and did not check to the ball at all and acted like real ball hogs.

To VB players - Good luck next couple of games - play hard and enjoy the game.
Treat tournaments like a brand new season. Don't worry about what happened during the season - the couldas and wouldas. Play like you know you can - ex. against Bryan and FJ. Alot of teams will look past you and you may surprise a few on the way.
