THe knights could of won but they shut down after their 2nd goal but if they played as a team and worked as a team they should of won also those reffs were pretty bad and never called any fouls for both teams.

Next year the Knights should be better because the defense of the JV eam and the offense of the Varsity are pretty good and combined they should be a really good team.

Instead of making excuses of why you lost, why can't you just say MC was a far better team than VB and give them some credit.

Cause they were not a better team than us they had same skills as us they played as a team and VB played as individuals

How can you say that? You lost 9-1! Clearly they dominated you in all facets of the game.

They would not of dominated us if the Varsity didn't give up the game after the secound goal and then started to play as individuals but that is how tthe VB varsity plays if were losing give up and yell at other players for no reason they did that last year too

But last year Miller City only won 5-2... and I think that even if the fighting hadnt gone on that is the best result you could have hoped for this year. I dont think that this should hurt your pride soccerkid, not just yet anyways, you still have alot of season to go...

Also some calls were not made like our goal keeper got kicked in the nuts on purpose but no call which then they scored which was crap

Well its the honest truth isnt it? I hate it when players try to talk up their teams after they lose like that and try to blame it on everyone else. Okay sure the refs may have missed three or four calls for you but that doesnt honestly mean that you would have scored on those possesions anyway... MC was by far the better team on this night... I just hope that everyone tried their best and gave it 110% with no injuries cause you never know when the last time you'll touch the ball or walk onto a field may be...

A. I never want to hear VB complain of dirty plays.

B. You LOST 9-1. There is no excuse strong enough to make up for an 8 goal difference.

very deep knightmare, puts things in perspective.
now about the game- i think that there were some good athletes on VB's team......but to go and say that the two teams tonight were equal? just my opinion, but even if their team shut down after the second goal, that was still enough to win, being that VB put just one goal in the back of the net. Both teams did not appear to be at their best tonight.
There were some no calls, but it went both ways, and you'll have that, and the best thing to do is keep playing your hardest. Good luck with the rest of your season Van Buren, and congrats to MC on the win.

Sorry soccerman but with Morgan... it has hit close to home for me... and my season is doen with an achillies injury but at least I may have the chance again. Good luck to all area athletes and I hope that you have safe, and enjoyable seasons.
