The volleyball game should have pretty good attendance. I doubt it sells out, as 1850 is a ton of people for a volleyball game. I won't be able to make it, but I will see if I can sneak away for a bit and listen to it on radio.

You can have your tigerball. We probably won't hear it much on Friday anyways.

Here are the exact scores.

Versailles over Russia, 25-11, 25-4, 25-15. Versailles now 16-0.

Versailles JV over Russia JV 29-27, 25-14. Versailles JV now 14-2.

Yeah, volleyball doesn't seem to get much attendance, but last year Marion was packed. Add in the Tigerball crazies and some fans who were enjoying the weekend a bit early rolleyes.gif , you get yourself a heck of a matchup. 1850 is a bit high of a number for our gym also.

2 MORE DAYS!

You'll be seeing it on the chests of some seniors. (No that isn't me at least not this year.) You will be impressed by the concession stand though.

Didn't they outlaw that in the MAC? I thought you weren't allowed to be bare-chested anymore.

That is only for indoor sporting events and we were the only school that didn't vote yes for it. thumbup1.gif

Marion Local wins in 4 games: 25-21, 19-25, 25-16, 25-21. JV also wins. Both squads remain perfect on the season. New Bremen lost against Minster in 3 games, so Marion Local is in first all by itself at 6-0, while Versailles and New Bremen are in second with 5-1 records. Congrats Flyers! (and for you, tigerball13, Flyerball!)

The only problem I had was Marion's students storming across the court through our team. Versailles sleepwalked through the third and fourth games.

I apologize if they stormed the court. I am not sure the last time we beat you in volleyball, and I am sure our students were very excited. As for the sleepwalking, maybe Marion Local just cranked it up a notch.

Yeah, don't worry about it. You're probably right, but the first two were tight, and all of a sudden we came out flat and you came out rockin'. (Yeah, that was a pretty lame rhyme.)

Well, it appears Marion Local can win an outright league crown if they can manage to beat New Bremen. NB has just one loss(Minster), and they recently defeated strong Versailles and Anna teams. Go Flyers!

Congrats Flyers! 1983 is a long time ago. It is hard to believe it has been that long with how many good teams we have had.

Marion Local beat Delphos in 3 last night to finish 9-0 in league play. Keep it going Flyers!
