Paulding defeated Bluffton 11-1 tonight!

What a great season for the Panthers.

With Columbus Grove surprisingly out, only the Knights are left with the Panthers. Knights survived a very close call at home against a very determined Big Green squad. They'll need to hit much, much better in order to survive the next round. Riley will need to be on top of his game from the start in Panthers next game as he will also need to move it up a notch after a gutsy performance against Liberty Center after a bad start. No room for error now with either team on the next matchups!

Actually Allen east and Jefferson won there sectionals as well, so we have four teams left. Pretty good showing for the NWC , i thought we would have had five but grove out surprises me.

Sorry for the exclusion. Those teams seemingly played so long ago forgot all about them. Actually of the four I would say Jeffcats have the best chance of advancing with good pitching and a strong offense. Mustangs could be last one standing, though, simply because they play Thursday.

OHHHH... I think Paulding has as good a chance as any one.

Their starting pitching has been strong, and their bats have come alive!

So don't count them out yet, it's tourney time and anything can happen!
Should be a good game Thursday!!!!!

Congrats to Coach Parrett and the 2008 Panther Baseball team on their Sectional Championship and 12th NWC title, by far the most NWC titles of any sport at Paulding.

Good luck against Coldwater in districts!!!!!!!

I knew I should have written them down, most mid to late seventies, early eighties a few in the ninties, last one being 2001. I can get exact years next time I am at the school which may be Thursday.

I hear Paulding has 2 starters suspended for their tournament game. Hopefully they'll be able to replace those two.

suspended or not, if both teams bring there "A" game, it should be a hell of a game...CONGRATS to coach parrett on NWC champs and sectional champs...the game will be on WPAU 1620AM in paulding county and over the internet at www.wpaulive.com (click "listenlive" on the left side) if you are unable to attend..GOOD LUCK PANTHERS!!!

Oh no.....Say it ain't so. crybaby.gif Crestview lost a game tonight they shouldn't have. We don't need a NWC not going in full benched....
