Who are the contenders and who are the pretenders?

JMO, but I think the interesting thing with the BVC this year is not the opinion that a lot of teams will be down this year......but rather the fact that there are so many new coaches. 6 new head coaches (I believe).

McComb has the QB and some big athletes so they should be strong. VB should score some points too as they return a lot from a team who finished very well last year. LB will probably be pretty good as usual too. Arlington and Leipsic probably next. HL brings back their old coach but he never had to contend with the BVC schedule his first tenure at HL.

I was told McComb looked really good in North Baltimore today. That shouldn't be a shocker though, haha.

This year is McComb's to lose. If they stay healthy, they should cruise. Leipsic, LB, Arlington and Van Buren in the next tier. Pandora may be improved. League a little closer to bottom heavy this year. Not the strength at the top as there has been the last decade.

BVC goes 4-8 in week 1 I think. McComb looks as expected. LB drilled by Wynford. VB loses a close one to what should be a good Allen East team. Arlington crushed too. Let's see what week 2 brings.
