I have to think LB and maybe Vanlue will have good teams. VB has a new coach, intested in seeing how they will do, he is a great guy with a nice basketball pedigree.

I think my Devils are going to give LB a run for top. Vanlue, Leipsic and VB should be the next level.

Clearly the top 3
1 Leipsic
2 Arlington
3 Vanlue

Next 2
LB
McComb

The last 5 could go in any order

LB, Leipsic and Arlington, not in any order. Vanlue, got to see what kind of guards they came up with. Lots of size, but somebody's got to handle the ball.

I agree with Common on this, the LUE could be in there depending on the guard play .

Leipsic not in the top four? I doubt that. I think the BVC is a toss up. McComb, Leipsic and Arlington in the top 3. I think Vanlue and LB will be in the middle of the pack.

L-B wins the league with Leipsic right on there heels and then Arlington or Vanlue coming in 3rd

I see LB more in the 3-5 spot. I think Arlington and Leipsic are the top 2 teams for sure.

Arlington has enough talent to make 2 varsity teams that would finish in the top 5 in the BVC.

Leipsic is also loaded with talent and had the best jv team in the league last year.

Vanlue, LB and McComb are the next 3.....

Arlington has all the key games at home with Vanlue being the exception . I watched L-B play several times this summer and if they are in the 3-5 category the league is going to be unreal this year.

Not sure anyone should call it that ! There are very few small school leagues that are better.

Give me names of the three best guards in the league and that will be the three teams at the top...Guard play is the X-factor at this level. All good comments though, Vanlue i ve heard has nice size, L-B has willimen so you can never count them out, leipsic seems to have a bevy of athletes so I would think they would be at the top, some of you say arlington is deep on talent and would consider vermillion one of the top coaches in the area, mcComb lost everything but would think they could reload, don't know much about VB but a storied program you would think put some wins up. With that, i would say the conference is wide open with any of the a fore mentioned teams in the hunt, and the bottom half of the conference... well as bad as it gets.

I like Leipsic, Atown and Vanlue with LB slightly behind these three teams. This is the deepest Arlington team in memory - the tough part will be finding enough playing time for 8-10 kids that all can play varsity level basketball. If not, our JV team will be crazy good if these "extra" players are moved down even for partial games.

I like the Lue a lot - just not sure they can get enough guard play when playing on a full sized court where they can be exposed.

Should be a nice competitive year in the BVC. I will make my way Southeast for a few games this year.

Who are the top players in the league this year. I know Leipsic returns 3 starters in Devin Mangas, Ty Maag, and Mitch Kuhlman. Mitch's younger brother Zach should contribute well as a sophomore.
Vanlue has Garber back, not sure if Kloepher(sp) as well.
Arlington has the POY in my opinion back in the post.
McComb has Jerry Brown.
Help on others in the league?

Casey Mock of Arcadia, Jeremiah Alspach of Cory Rawson, Mitch Lenhart of LB are some other top players in the league.
