I heard about this great story on Wednesday 4-30 on radio. Said that ESPN had some coverage about it. ESPN article on one act of sportsmanship

There is also a video - but I couldn't get it to work

Yeah...I heard about that over the weekend (I think). I've looked for video, but having found anything that actually has it. The one link you said you couldn't get to work was something I watched earlier tonight and it was just interviews.

I watched the video and the girl who went down and the players from other team who carried her to home plate. It is amazing the sportsmanship they showed. The story touched my heart. There is a lesson here to be learned by all of us. Way to go girls. thumbup1.gif

Where is this video at? I was watching ESPN at lunch and they said on SportsCenter (last night's played at noon) that they have yet to uncover any footage other than photos of the girl actually being carried around the bases.

ESPN finally has PORTIONS of the occurrence. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncaa/espnu/index Hunt down the "Touching Them All" video on the right side of the screen. Get to see the hit and the players carrying her from second base all the way home...That's about it. But still a good story.
