as far as aaron reading posts on here I doubt it. Not that it would be bad of him he just has his mind elsewhere. Not many of you know the little things he does for kids in the findlay area or his concentration on grades. I doubt between the life of a OSU bball player, trying to acclimate to college life and maintaning high grades in the classroom does he look up the rocketcorner to read our insightfull discussion.

Anyone catch them talking about Crafts GPA today? 3.8. and only because one Prof. refused to allow him to make up a quiz that he missed while playing in the SEC vs BIG 10 game aganst the Gators!! Way to go Aaron!!

Illini's McCaney's worst nightmare= Aaron Craft. 2-11 from the field. 5 pts.

So who was Craft's worst nightmare? He went 1 for 5......course nobody guards him.

Aaron Craft isn't the B10 8th leading scorer. He had a job to do and he did it VERY WELL.

1 turnover and 4 assists in 31 minutes. Not bad for someone who was not good enough to play D-1 basketball according to some clueless people.

Apparently Aaron Craft likes to "Party in the U-S-A"

Maybe people have already seen this, but I found it amusing at like 2 a.m. this morning.

QUOTE (a flock of tbirds @ Sep 30 2010, 08:29 PM) : OH no!!I DEFINITELY agree Craft is REAL nice. You do not get a scholly to OSU unless you are NICE!!!My point is he will need some time to adjust to college hoop!He isn*t that nice where his game just automatically translates to BIG TEN success!!!I like Crafts game and think he will help OSU out big time once he does get acclimated!!By the end of the season I would not be surprised if he gets the LIONS share of the PG minutes.
--
If he does, OSU is in major trouble.
They are forced to start Lighty at point this year and then hope Lenzelle Smith can play point and then groom the pg they have coming in next year.

The fact that he is a defensive liablity is not his fault. That is not to say he is horrible on defense, it has to do with his size and lateral footspeed. Those are two things he cannot control and will need to compensate for .

Aaron Craft, Ohio State. Jared Sullinger is getting the pub in Columbus, but Craft is quietly taking over this team. He has played more than 30 minutes in five of their last six games and scored in double figures in three of the last four -- including a stellar 19 points and 7 assist game against Penn State where he frustrated Talor Battle into a 1 of 10 shooting night. Craft is a huge key for the No. 1 team in the country. He did have a freshman-like setback against Iowa, but Big Ten coaches continue to be effusive in their praise of the Findlay, Ohio frosh.

Doug Gottlieb on Aaron Craft: ESPN College BAsketball analyst.

Announcers on CBS said Ohio st coaches said AC's lateral quickness is the reason he is so good defensively.

At the time, I figured a lot of Victorian's expert commentary would come back to haunt him, but never went to the trouble of going back over the thread to hunt for the true gems. Thanks for this little trip down memory lane. laugh.gif
