Who is everyones pick? I am going to go with Lebron...HE is awsome and he is the only player in the NBA I feel every person in a the U.S. could actually sit down and watch a whole NBA game that he is in...the last 2 months he has turned it up and is playing great basketball...over the last 12-15 games he is avergaing 38.8 per contest...He is a leader of the team and deserves this award...

I think Steve Nash deserves it once again. They are in about the same position as last year without Amare Staudemire. He is averaging a double double and without him the Suns are nothing. I love watching him and his passes are crazy especially for how little he is. It is much easier for Lebron to make crazy passes with a 6'8 tank for a body. A lot of times with this award they stick to the teams that have the best record or are very close. So I will stick with Nash but I think Billups has a very good shot as well.

I think lebron james has a very good chance I mean yeah Steve Nash is a good player but, Lebron makes some key shots at good times and he's not cocky. I am not saying that the others are but Lebron deserves it

I think it should go to either James or Nash. My pick is James I think mostly because Nash won it last year and I just don't see him winning 2 years in a row.

I like Lebrons chances, but no one said Kobe yet, and he is having a hell of a year. I am not even a big fan of Kobe

he controls the game like lebron never will....
hes proven clutch and the best player in the nba...
when hes not on the cout they are lost, unlike when when lebron takes a rest...

That is because no one else touches the ball when Kobe is on the court except for the guy who passes it in after the other team scores.

kobe barely even entered my mind when this thread was started. lebron is way more of a complete player than kobe ever will be. like when kobe had 81 points that game, what were his other stats? like 1 rebound, 1 assist maybe? lebron consistantly scores about 30, consistantly gets above 10 rebounds, and consistantly gets above about 6 assists per game. and when your star comes out for a rest, its better that they keep it going. because that means lebron isnt ALL their team, like kobe is. james is just a more all-around player than kobe. and to tell yah the truth, i dont even have kobe in my top 4. its between lebron and billips.

top 5 IMO
1) lebron james
2) chauncey billips
3) steve nash
4) dirk nowitzki
5) kobe bryant

kobe doesnt need to do the rest when he puts up 82...
suppose everyone of lebrons 10 boards and 6 assists went for 2 points, add that to his points scored and he would still be a longshot from 82!

He doesnt have to score 81 for his team to win.

Steve Nash put up the same numbers this year if not better without Amare Stoudamire.

He's averaging 1.5 less assists but 3.3 more points and .8 more rebounds without Amare.

LeBron James is definately the best player in the league. Dirk Nowitski would be better if he could be a dominant post player as well. Kobe would probably be second, but it still wouldn't be close. LeBron keeps his whole tam in the game, no matter who's on the floor. He has three other guys on his team that score more than 10 points per game.

LeBron James is the MVP...PERIOD!
