SPORTSCHICK doesnt seem to know what sport she is talking about. Track is one of my personal favorite sports because it is more about singular competion. (thats why i am a little disapointed that there is no Track forum). Thats why i attacked her postings, its close to my heart .
I have also been to JR High BVC track meet, and Leipsic did not have a good showing there either, if i remember, they only had like 10 boys on there team.
Im also not trying to ruin their confidence, im just asking for there to be some accuracy to what she is posting.
another quarter....

Champ Kind: I woke up on the floor of some Japanesse family's living room, and they would NOT stop screaming!
Brick Tamland: I ate a big, red candle.
If winning isn't everything, why do they keep score?

all you had to say in ur earlier forum is that it was basketball. this is a track forum, and you posted something with no clarification of what sport you were talking about.
one other note, leipsic has a good baseball program. track runs at the same time that baseball does. leipsic may be talented freshman wise, but most will most likely go the way of baseball.
and TIGERBALL, its track season, its when the weather outside becomes worse than it was in winter...lol

i would have figured as much....lol
just got back from the arlington track meet, even without seniors, girls win it, and boys get second. (out of 3)
and another actual state track person, how bout Tayler Badley? shes just a freshman, but i think she will make it eventually.... she blew our old fastest 100 runner out of the water (maci bower)
just though i would throw her out there.

She did real well at the districts and was in the top 4 times going in to the regionals.
At regionals and state they use a totally different weighted hurdle. They don’t move. She was winning her heat and hit a hurdle and it rolled her. Sorry to say if you don’t finish the race you don’t move on to state where she was all set up to go.
Last night in her first track meet this season against st Marys and Minster she won the 100 hurdles by almost 2.5 seconds and in the 300 hurdles she won by almost 8 seconds.
Her team also took a first in the 4x4. I also look for this team to go to state!
Her team in the 4x1 lost at the line. It was too close to call from where I was standing.
Not bad 3 wins in the first track meet and she almost had 4 wins.
She went to state as a fresh man in the 4x1 and was holding one of the best times,
And should have been there last year in the hurdles.
Jessi vorst from lima bath will also be at state for the shut put and discus.

that anthony is an amazing athlete. over the last 2 years i've seen her single handily help DSJ stay competitive in meets. One of my teammates last year told me his goal in some of the meets was to beat her, and he was our second long jumper (our first won state). with her jumping over 18 feet and farther, she just needs to worry about not getting hurt, and doing her best.

Amanda Barlage does not hold the record for the pole vault-Unless you are talking school record -she has went 11' however, and is a good vaulter -- should indeed go to the state meet again this season.
Jenna Oard from Columbus Grove holds the all timeSTATE record at 11'8" in division 3 and she returns for her senior season, the top five girls from last years state meet all return this season so a new state meet record should be established if all goes well in division 3. The present STATE MEET record is held by Brittany Klima from Ottoville at 11'6" set in 2004.
I am pretty sure thats what he meant. Her school record is 11' 6" and she almost got 11` 8" last year at a meet though.
