Coldwater blows a 9-2 lead over Anthony Wayne to lose 10-9. Cavs are bounced from the tournament.

Final scores from 7/21/09

Tippecanoe 9, Bluffton 0

Anthony Wayne 10, Xenia 2

The games on 7/22/09 were rained out, so the schedule had to move to Thursday and here it is:

Games on 7/23/09

Defiance vs. Springfield 6:00pm
Anthony Wayne vs. Tippecanoe 8:00pm

Defiance won the first game tonight (7/23/09) over Springfield, 4-2. Game two, tonight, was suspended in the 5th inning due to lightning with Anthony Wayne leading Tippecanoe 3-0. The game will be resumed tomorrow at 5pm. That winner will play following that game vs. Springfield in the loser's bracket Final. The winner of the Loser's Bracket Final will play Saturday at Noon vs. Defiance for the 2009 ACME State Championship.

Anthony Wayne gets by Tippecanoe, 3-2. Tippecanoe got a couple of runs late, but, it was not enough. Anthony Wayne and Springfield are playing now.

Springfield plays Defiance for the 2009 ACME State Champinoship tomorrow at Noon. 2:30pm will be the start time for game 2 if there needs to be a game two.

Ok so it's their 7th. Looks like I got ahead of myself. Maybe next year can be 8.

What a great summer for the Dogs, now hopefully we can see something like this soon in the spring. Like hopefully next year.

Don't know about District but he threw 2 innings in the state tournament........was also named tournament MVP.

Dace Kime threw 7 innings in their district opener on July 8th vs. Patrick Henry. On July 12th vs. Archbold, he threw 4 1/3 innings in the District Title Game.
