I would like to think so but the last time that VB beat Ottoville was when Kyle Spangler was playing....heck the last time that they were even on the same field Kyle was playing...I dont know but it should translate into something good...I mean they only lost to Kalida by two...so the PCL is tougher than the other area leagues of the same division so it could translate into bigger and better things....I still think VB is about a year from being really competitive but I would love to be proved wrong! Good Luck Black Knights the rest of this season....wish I could be there to see it!

Biting???

Yea apparently Patric Garlock from Bluffton bit a kid during the game, and the kid told his athletic director and called Bluffton's AD and everything. I actually know Patric and he told me he supposedly bit the kid right in the groin area, so I don't believe one bit of it lol. I think its just Ada bein mad that they got embarrassed in the 2nd half

stats for the vb game: Jason Tropf had both goals... one off the assist by Jacob Sublett, other assist by Michael Flanagan.

VB Ottoville game was fun to watch. VB has a very good defense their defense will keep them in most of their games. They may play a lot of 2 to 1 games

In the GROIN, huh? That must have been some bite mark if the player showed his AD the next day, but then again, I've heard of this Patric Garlock kid to have the unique ability to freeze time, so he could have been biting for hours, maybe months without any notice by the player.... and that also explains why the player finally noticed it after the game and not right after it "happened."

Seriously, does that count as a yellow card for "flopping," even after a game??

haha...about the "biting"
i was at the Bluffton vs Ada game, and the only time Patric was on the ground with an Ada player, he was looking at the goal to watch his shot go in. He never bit anyone, especially not in the groin. Whoever started that rumor is dead wrong...there was no bite. Plus, i wonder how this Ada kid had proof..did he show his AD his groin? lol
I was stunned when i heard this rumor...it's so ridiculous.

This act of cruelty is disgusting in more ways than one.

1) Biting should be a federal offense. It's disgusting and one could get AIDS from it. As for Patric, he's a disgusting kid and should be punished for biting.

2) Freezing time is incredibly wrong. Time freezing powers are a gift Mr. Garlock, and if your going to abuse them, they should be taken away forever. You should be ashamed of yourself for abusing the powers you were granted at birth.

3) Who in the world, no, in the galaxy, no, in the universe, would be comfortable enough to, first off, make a story that involves himself getting bitten in the groin, and second off, SHOWING an athletic director? Who in their right mind would be ***** enough to take his pants off and show off a bite mark right next to his ding dong? Disgusting man.

4) Number four is not exactly disgusting, but why didnt this guy say anything during the game. I'm sure it would hurt a little getting bit anywhere, so would he tell his coach or a ref. or somthing? Wierd.

Patric, keep the biting and the time stopping to a minimum please. Ada soccer player who was bit in the groin, i'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Uh.....

This topic got suddenly weird. Never heard of biting in a game, nor would I use it as a tactical tool. El Yucko. Ive played against people who used their B.O. as a tool to knock defenders out (not toffeeman), but none who wanted to take a bite out of crime.

While the biting/teeth above was bad, catch this quote:

History of Soccer:

The modern-day outgrowth of soccer is known to have started in England, and the first ball reportedly was the head of a dead Danish brigand. Although King Edward III prohibited soccer in 1365 because of its excessive violence and for military reasons playing took time away from archery practice the game had become too popular to be curtailed.”
