Great game ottoville scored first off a throw in, then VB rallied back to tie, 18 seconds left VB scores off a beautifully played ball, to win the game. Great game to both teams!

I dont know what happened but I am glad to see that my alma matter might be back on track to be decent this year... any stats from the VB Ville game?

stats for the vb game: Jason Tropf had both goals... one off the assist by Jacob Sublett, other assist by Michael Flanagan.

I've played and attended hundreds of games and this one is right up there for uniqueness. Ada was up 3-1 at halftime. In the first 12 minutes of the second half, Bluffton poured in 5 goals. One was on an obvious trip in the box, the other 4 were just good play. This was as entertaining as you will see!! Read the write up...check out the pictures. Enjoy!

This year Van Buren players have been given very strict restrictions on this site. Last year we looked like fools on here and talked so much crap and sometimes couldent back it up. We will post our scores and congraulate other teams but no further. Our coach has been very strict with this and i am not even sure i should write this much haha. But like i said we will still be here but mostly just to read. We are a smarter team this year and have much more respect for ourselves and thouse around us. I would also like to say great game to Ottovile it was a veary good game and both teams really came out to play and we left it all out on the field. Well i am done rambaling on now but just thought i would let rocketcorner know about Van Buren and insure other teams there will be no trash talk on here this year. Good luck to everyone and have a safe season!!!

2 of the goals were free kicks about a yard or 2 outside the 18. Clum placed both of them really well. The other goal was bad communication between the keeper and the defense.
Bluffton got their act together in the second half though. 5 goals in 20 minutes is pretty impressive

Congrats VB on your win. But I must say deja vu perhaps? VB tied Kalida 0-0 early in the season last year. Kalida went on to have a good season and VB not so much. This game was very close to being a tie if not for the last 18 seconds. Yea some people may think wow wait VB may actually be good this year. I say wait and see what they do in other games...Real Big Bold prediction here...VB will NOT win NCOSA haha

hate to say it, but clum isn't 100% yet. He tries hard for his team...the Bluffton game was an early time for him to come back, but he is dedicated. There was some bad play from both sides, biting, shoving, tripping. It was an interesting game for sure.
