Before Holgate's burnt down.......there was a challenge
those of you that bowl in Lima heard of Shannon Ingramm III?
I didn't bring up the former Timberlanes in Holgate because I hate to re-live the terrible loss from that fire. (Not any lives, but a lifetime of memories).
It doesn't get any better that kicking up water rooster tails as your ball went down lane 10. I did my share of complaining about some of the conditions there, but the old adage rings true again.
You don't know what you have till it's gone.

I can second that Louden, I grew up bowling at the Lucky Lanes in Continental. We had our share of rooster tails there also.

Leipsic is still oiled by hand and is an adventure every time you go. Only a 6 lane house but you gotta try the crackers, cheese, mustard and horseradish. Weird combo but tastes awesome with some beer!

When you say bowling schools, are you referring to college or talking of transferring? OG has a pretty good program that is close to you. I am not familiar with any from Lima though. As far as colleges, I am not sure of any close that have that as a sport.

Not sure about which Lima schools have bowling, but down here in Mercer/Auglaize counties we've got some pretty solid high school bowling. Wapak, St. Marys, St. Henry and Coldwater have high school squads that have done well in recent years. I think they are in the West Ohio Bowling Conference with most of the WBL and MAC schools. And I believe LCC is in this conference too.

Congratulations to phil his accomplishments are well worth the honor, as for Ada bowlers not being able to compete on a house shot. Dane Parshall and Greg Austin would most likely fair well on any condition. Dane Parshall has surely proven that he can compete and Greg is an Austin so to say that Ada bowlers can't compete I wouldn't speak for all.

Just wondering if you have bowled in the state tournament in Cinci, and if so how did it go with that shot they have out this year?
Not too good here.
