Man, and just when I thought football season was over and my problems would go poof into the night

Now, don't you feel just a little bit better?...........to be honest with you, if the previous post made by the LCC coach was indeed made by him (and I have no reason to doubt it was) then this is a first for me.........a very classy move on his part and it just doesn't happen much.........another reason why the RC is a great place

Hey RC, can I stop holding my breath now, I can't count any higher! Unbelievable how pathetic "some" people are. See I am growing as a person here on the corner. In the past I would have said all people from grove are pathetic but now having read some decent posts, I stand corrected and post accordingly. Waiting for the thread on how nasty and unsportsmanlike our other teams are. Missed the one on soccer.

Even tho he is still not my favorite person in the world, that was very commendable and a nice gesture to see Coach Franklin apologize. Still dont agree with what happened, but it was nice to see someone from LCC stop trying and justify what happened and an apology from someone out of LCC! thank you coach Franklin!

You are obviously your favorite person. I do not know this coach or anything about him other than he looks like he is about 18 years old and he is another coach that took a average at best program and turned it into a perennial league contender, only to be bashed by the usual suspects. The difference between he and those that get on here and talk their

about LCC sports is he is man enough to post what he did while the rest of you will only change the subject and move onto someone or something else related to our school. He may have made a mistake, been wrong, been a jerk whatever, but I would take him many times over, over what I witness being said on here by a certain minority group on a regular basis.

With all the jumping and cheering that Coach Franklin does, I'd stay back, just in case that big beer can falls out of the sky........

Ill apologize when you admit you have a great advantage when it comes to player's and recruiting and how they all seem to come to LCC for the academics. And stop thinking LCC is the cream of the crop. In the last 5-10 years, LCC has not even come close to Grove's atheltic achievments, and please dont make me name them all. So when you reach our level and have more than 2 good year's stop thinking your the best.

Get over yourself, OhioDog....You were just as wrong in what you said as Franklin may have been in his actions. The difference is he was big enough to admit his mistake and apologize for it. You hide behind your screen name and continue to blast away. You are a coward and your opinion is severely tainted. You hate LCC...that's a given. So move on.

You still haven't said what advantage LCC has. As I've challenged you, name a person who transferred into LCC and made an athletic contribution to a varsity team and I will name you one that has left LCC to make an athletic contribution at a public school. LCC LOSE MORE ATHLETES DUE TO TRANSFERS THAN THEY GAIN!! But you obviously don't want to hear that because thinking otherwise gives you an excuse when we beat you.

By the way, LCC's girls volleyball team is currently made up of kids who all came up through the Catholic school system. Furthermore, 4 girls that they played with throughout middle school, junior high, and early high school now play volleyball at public schools in the area.

But, as OhioDog pointed out, LCC only benefits from transfers, lol.

Quit your crying, it's really getting old.

P.S. Show me where anyone justified Coach Franklin's actions (or alleged actions). I clearly wrote that if he did get in a girls face than he was clearly wrong, but once again you only hear what you want to. And if you think anything I've said on here is inaccurate, just say so and I'll gladly prove to you otherwise.

Been there and done that. Explained it many times over but you are either too dense to understand or you are from Columbus Grove. Your apology is not necessary as it would not be accepted given you have shown what you are about.

Didn't LCC win the NWC title in Quiz Bowl last year, too? Why would you doubt people go there for academics? After all, isn't it a school? LCC gets a lot of transfer students and only a small portion of them are athletes. However, I guess the athletes are the only ones that matter to you. I know it's probably hard for you to imagine, but sports are not everything at LCC like they are in some communities. LCC has strong academics and a lot of kids who's main focus is exactly that. They also have a lot of very talented kids in the arts. Just go to Encore Theater some time and you'll see a lot of them. The last 2 Allen Co. Jr. Misses have been from LCC (I suppose they recruited them, too). Or maybe it's a Jr. Miss conspiracy. There's more to LCC than football unlike some other schools where sports make up the entire social life of the community. And, by the way, you're the only one on here who has claimed that LCC is the cream of the crop. They may not be, but they're not bad.
